12. The Right to Play
Every child has the right to play and have fun. To have dancing flowers and magic mud. |
The last in a series of 12 presentations on the Charter of Rights to Peel Regional Councillors was the Right to Play. The YEAH Chorus premiered the Peel Children's Charter of Rights theme song: "We've Got Rights." The joyful presentation underscored children's inherent right to play.

Many children who had presented individual rights to council between April 2008 and May 2009, joined Mr. Davis for the final delegation.
